SUMMER POTLUCK & BAPTISM
We will be having a Potluck and Water Baptism in Waikiki on Sunday, July 12 at 2pm. We will meet at Kapiolani Park near the Bandstand. We suggest those whose last names begin with the letters A-L bring a Main Dish, and those from M-Z bring a Side Dish. Bring your own juice/soda and beach chairs or mats to sit on.
If you would like to be Baptized, please pick up a "Water Baptism" pamphlet to read through ahead of time. They are available at the Info Booth, along with maps.

RANDY STONEHILL IS COMING
Christian music icon Randy Stonehill will be with us on Wednesday, July 15 at 7pm at Mid-Week Service. Randy's discography spans over thirty-one years, melding honest lyrics of faith, struggle and hope with rootsy folk-rock music. Alongside a small group of Christian artists considered too "Christian" for the mainstream and too "Rock and Roll" for the church, Stonehill blazed trails that are now easily traveled by Christian musicians, influencing countless young fans and future artists along the way.
Invite a friend to join you for a great night of worship and special music, along with a time in the Word with Pastor Bill.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
"The Great Comeback" is the theme of this year's Sports Camp VBS set for Mon-Fri, July 20-24 from 9am-2pm. Kids 4-5 will work on Team Building, and kids 6-12 will choose from Soccer, Basketball, and Cheerleading instruction. Cost is $35/per child. Registration has begun.
We also need teen and adult volunteers to help with VBS. No experience in the sports is necessary. See Doreen Sokolowski.

AUGUST EVENTS
The dates have been set for our annual summer outreaches:
How to Walk 2009 – Sat, Aug 22 from 8am-4pm.
Speakers include: Skip Heitzig, Gayle Erwin, Greg Laurie, Raul Ries, Bill Stonebraker, Don Stewart and Lt. General William Boykin. Admission is free.
Lost Boy: The Next Chapter – Sat, Aug 22 at 6:30pm.
Greg will share following the movie screening, and his son, Jonathan, will give a special testimony. Admission is free.
End Times Outreach – Sun-Wed, Aug 23-26 at 6:30pm.
One speaker each night, following a mini-concert with VOTA. Admission is free.
Ministry Conference – Mon-Wed, Aug 24-26 from 8am-4pm.
This year's theme is "Setting the Church in Order: the How To's of Ministry." The Ministry Conference requires paid registration. You can register at church, print a form to mail in with a check, or register online with a credit card.
Make plans to attend, and pray about serving at one or more of the events. We'll have more details on how to serve soon.
